Quoting: emphyHeroic is awesome, but gog would still be worth it for the drm-free downloads.

This is me as well. I don't fuck with launchers at all. I just want the actual game so that I can click and play.

Anything more than that is a no purchase for me.

As a person that enjoyed emulation. I feel like while work she be done to preserve I also feel like it's free marketing for these company brands and so I just tap out on it often because so many companies abuse their power.

Make it hard to enjoy their stuff.

I'm 100% down to check this out. If it has local MP, that could be a good win for my gaming group!

Hey all! I've seen some FPS on PS2 that may appeal to me. Can someone let me know if I can map the controls to play on PC FPS (Wasd + mouse) without issue?

Quoting: Purple Library GuySo, just wondering because this isn't actually a game I'm likely to play, but if it only comes out on console, can it be played on PC with emulation? Or are all those emulators just for old consoles?

Emulation is currently CURRENT with some systems for example Nintendo Switch has day 1 emulation for many of their games but not all.

All others are trailing.

Raspberry Pi 5 announced - still tiny, much more powerful

Quoting: 14I have to be anti-mainstream when it comes to tech, so I use other SBC's. I don't tinker constantly; I just have a handful that act as micro servers in the house. I already have an extra that rarely gets used, so no need for another.

It's cool to see the popularity continue.

I also use an ODroid XU4 also but it's on the side of my main rig and mostly there for when I have a lot of family over and I run some Sega Genesis games for some of my older cousins.

Quoting: constWhat distro are you running to use Pis as a desktop replacement? I'm usually on Arch derivates, but I fear not everything will be readily available, especially from AUR and flathub.

I use Twister OS! It is to this day the most amazing experience I have with Raspberry Pi as a desktop. I'm on my Raspberry Pi desktop most of time for day to day usage and gaming.

I have a System76 Gazelle laptop that is awesome also running POP OS but if I could I would have a Raspberry Pi laptop and call it a day. I tried Pi-Top and it was horrible.

This is my desktop of choice for the last few years. I will update my HTPCs and sell these Pi4s.
