Steam Deck UI comes to Desktop in Beta to replace Big Picture Mode
28 October 2022 at 6:18 am UTC

Not so sure whether I am happy that. It seems a bit early? For example, Last week, when I set up by Steam Dock, I realized I hadn't updated my Steam Controller for BLE yet (woopsie). Updating it was not possible through the Deck-Ui but only through Big Picture Mode instead...

Quoting: XpanderNice. Been using the 515.49.10 since it was made available and its been amazing with the DXVK's graphics pipeline library (..AKA the Stutter free experience™)

Now installed this one, lets see how this will handle everything :P

Any specific things to do to enable the Stutter free experience™? Can I just go with Proton Experimental or GE-Proton?

Fun games for Steam Deck that won't break the bank

My two cents: Kingdom and Kingdom: Two Crowns have been insanely addictive for me lately. Simple controls and due to the pixel style a great battery life (I swear, it's only been 5mins from starting it at 10pm and the low battery notification at 2am!)

QuoteJust some of the titles that could benefit include:

Apex Legends
Back 4 Blood
Dead By Daylight
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout
Halo: The Master Chief Collection
New World
Paladins
Rust
Warhammer: Vermintide 2

How does a compiler benefit from anti-cheat though?

Enabling anti-cheat in Rust turns it into C?

Programming in Rust enables few cheat codes, like thread and memory safety. With those enabled, it's possible to speedrun program development (assuming that target is to get stable program) and that's not fair.

I guess I cheat a whole lot

It looks kinda metal-ish? The switch(?) on the upper edge reminds me of the iPhone mute switch.

A metal body with a similar style and quality like the classic iPhones? Hell, yeah, I would buy that!
